Chlorine dioxide
is an extremely powerful oxidizing agent and microbiocide. It is
an unstable chemical and thus can not be shipped and must be generated
on site much the way ozone is. Unlike ozone, chlorite based chlorine
dioxide generators are small and easy to install into your existing
application. In most cases a chlorine dioxide generator can be installed
in less than one day and takes up very little space. Unlike chlorine,
chlorine dioxide is not a chlorinating agent and pure chlorine dioxide
